What is the position regarding insurance?

Although the Studio has its own insurance, you are responsible for ensuring your personnel, performers and equipment are both safe and properly insured.

When do I need to pay by?

Payment must be made at least weekly in advance with cleared funds. The payment for the first week or part week must be made in full when booking otherwise your booking will not be considered confirmed and the stage will still be available for another party to book.

I need to cancel my booking. Can I have a full refund?

Only in exceptional circumstances. In taking your booking we will probably have had to turn down other applicants and the dates you booked will have been treated as unavailable and perhaps advertised on our web site and possibly elsewhere as such. As a result your deposit payment will normally be retained. Even in the case of exceptional circumstances there is likely to have to be some administrative deduction from your booking fee, which will depend on the work we have done and possibly on other factors, depending on the circumstances.

What catering facilities are available?

Full catering facilities are available. The studio also has self-catering facilites which hirers may share with studio staff.

What else does the studio do?

This is a working film studio so TV and film production is our main business. Our sister company Spiked Wheel Films is currently producing an historical blockbuster epic, Katherine of Alexandria.
