Voiceover, Dubbing (ADR) and Foley (Sound Effects)
How we beat the sound barrier
US studios make it clear that they "may forgive a bad picture, but they will not forgive bad sound." Our own sound advisor, Oscar Winner John Poyner, says: "I don't want to be bashed over the head with volume, I want to hear the storyline and with that in mind: dialogue must come first. No traffic noise, no rumble, just clean dialogue and balanced background music with clean sound effects."
We at CWF have got it right, priced it right, and can produce massive feature sound more quickly than any competitor. From voiceovers through to thundering realism from our foley sound effects library, our team-spirited engineers are able to dramaticlly reduce costs, in some cases by up to 50%, from original budgets. Our voiceovers take much less time which makes it pleasant for any artists visiting the studio for additional dialogue recording (ADR). You can also have instant dubbing without having to bring the actors back into the studio.
Want a demo? We'll be happy to oblige, providing you have excellent playback facilities because we wouldn't want you to miss out.
The studio is set in a quiet Nature reserve with easy access to the M1, the M25, the tube and Thameslink rail, and it is only six miles from the centre of town.
